The Academy of the Hebrew Language welcomes visitors!

Our Cultural and Educational Center offers visitors a comprehensive look at Hebrew – its unique history, incredible revival, and ongoing development – and provides a fresh understanding of the language in contemporary culture through interactive activities enhanced by innovative technology. The Center also presents a museum exhibition of precious historical artifacts, including original furniture and objects from the house of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, who spearheaded the revival of Hebrew and was honored by UNESCO for his outstanding contribution to education, science, and culture.

We invite you to enrich your visit with a lecture by one of the Hebrew experts on the Academy’s staff. Our selection of lectures covers a variety of topics: the Academy’s work, linguistic issues, surprising aspects of the revival of Hebrew, and more.

The Center hosts a wide variety of groups, including upper-school students (grades 8–12), families, retirees, teams from companies and organizations, new immigrants, and tourists.

Please note: the tour at the Center currently requires at least basic Hebrew.
